Objectives

AIMVehiculeID - "SOL - 2024 - 5 Advanced integrated system for vehicle identification, utilizing multiple recognition/confirmation elements, based on artificial intelligence (AI)", owner National University of Science and Technology "Politehnica" Bucharest (led by AI Multimedia Lab), partners Military Technical Academy Ferdinand I and Softrust SRL, public beneficiary Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs, funded by UEFISCDI, Solutions Axis, grant PN-IV-P6-6.3-SOL-2024-0049, agreement 5Sol(T5)/2024.

General objective:

The development and operationalization of an advanced integrated system dedicated to vehicle identification, with capabilities for secure data collection and management, aimed at increasing the quantity and quality of specific informational products.

Specific objectives:

Feasibility study on identifying and determining the technologies / equipment / methods / tools / concepts suitable for the development of the advanced integrated system dedicated to vehicle identification.
Definition of the concept and establishment of the basic architecture of the system (hardware and software).
System prototype design. Design of system modules/components (hardware and software). Preparation of preliminary execution documentation.
Development of system modules/components (hardware and software). Integration and development of the system prototype.
Testing and functional validation of the system prototype. Internal certification at the executor.
Operational testing (under real usage conditions) at the beneficiary.
Training of the beneficiary’s personnel for system operation.
Finalization of the system prototype and revision (completion) of the system execution documentation.
